Ian MacMahon (1981), who chaired the project, kept
a folder of the documents related to it, including the
publicity poster and details of sponsorship income
(above). On loan to the archive, it also includes Ian’s
own diary of the days on the road, staff participants
and the team itself (sadly, the press photographs and
cuttings are in too poor a condition to be reproduced
here):-
