our relatively secure and privileged place in the world? Have we learned
the need to reach out to the lost, the wounded, the poor, the disabled?
There might lie the ultimate value of our humanity and therefore of all
we have achieved. Let our prayer tonight be, that we will continue to grow
as human beings, marked by the compassion of Jesus Christ.
